South Australia State Migration Plan Update

The MIA has received the following advice from Immigration SA:
Immigration SA will be reopening its Sponsorship Application System on 11 July 2011 to accept a limited number of occupations.
Unfortunately, the approval of the full and revised State Sponsored Migration List (SSML) for the new Program Year (2011-2012) has not yet been approved. In order to address the continuing skills needs in some occupations, Immigration SA has extended the life of the current SSML (2010-2011) with some amendments. This is to allow the system to be reopened and for some applicants to proceed with their applications.
As soon as the full SSML for 2011-2012 has been approved, it will be published on our website.
Please visit http://www.migration.sa.gov.au for details of requirements, criteria and the revised List (Note this will be updated on the website today, 11 July 2011).
Immigration SA would like to take this opportunity to thank your members for their cooperation and support and apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.
