Swinburne Updates Dec 2006

(1) Advanced Diploma of Hospitality and Diploma of Horticulture

Please be advised that the places at Prahran for the Advanced Diploma of Hospitality and the places at Wantirna for the Diploma of Horticulture are now full. No further applications and payment will be accepted for those campuses.

Any students that has an existing offer for the Prahran and Wantirna campus will be issued new offers for the Lilydale campus. All new applications will now only be accepted for the Lilydale campus.

We currently have 60 Advanced Diploma of Hospitality courses places left and 30 Diploma of Horticulture places available at the Lilydale campus.

(2) Course Cancellations

The following courses have been cancelled and will no longer be available for 2007

Diploma of Liberal Arts
Diploma of Fire Technology
Diploma of Business (Wantirna campus only) Diploma of Business (HR) (Lilydale campus only) Advanced Diploma of Business (Marketing) (Lilydale campus only)

If you have any students affected by these cancellations, please advise the admissions staff at Swinburne International immediately for reassessment to alternate courses.

(3) Special Lilydale admissions entry for Monash Foundation and Trinity College Foundation students

Students from Monash Foundation and Trinity Foundation that only passes 3/4 subjects and achieves a minimum overall average of 220 and above for the best 4 subjects and passes English in the Foundation studies, can be granted a firm offer into Lilydale's Bachelor of Business (this course only and no other Lilydale courses) no STF required.
