問題:	Hi Robby, This is Wendy here, there is a few questions that I would like to ask you in regarding to study in melbourne, 1) what courses are avaliable if the person would like to become a chef? 2) what are their cost and duration of the courses? 3) what are their criteria for entry? 4) are those courses going to help the person in applying for Permanent Residency (just like nursing and pharmacy course)? A) Diploma of Hospitality Management (Commercial Cookery) B) Diploma of Hospitality Management (Asian Cookery) C) Diploma of Hospitality Management (Patisseries) D) Diploma of Hospitality Management (Bakery) 問: 2) what are their cost and duration of the courses? 答: The cost and duration as follow: A) Diploma of Hospitality Management (Commercial Cookery) Cost: AUD$21,500 (total 2 years) Duration: 2 years B) Diploma of Hospitality Management (Asian Cookery) Cost: AUD$19,600 (total 2 years) Duration: 2 years C) Diploma of Hospitality Management (Patisseries) Cost: AUD$20,300 (total 2 years) Duration: 2 years D) Diploma of Hospitality Management (Bakery) Cost: AUD$19,600 (total 2 years) Duration: 2 years 問: 3) what are their criteria for entry? 答: Passes at Senior 2/ Form 5 (Year 11 level) or the overseas equivalent plus relevant employment experience. 問: 4) are those courses going to help the person in applying for Permanent Residency (just like nursing and pharmacy course)? 答:Yes, they will certainly help under the current migration law. For nursing and pharmacy course, they do not require for 900 hours related work experience. If using cook as a skill to apply for PR, there are two requirements that need to meet. a) 900 related work experiences before the PR application. b) 2 years related course studied. 問: How likely is a chef going to get granted their PR (ie what percentage)? 答: Under the current migration law, if the student has 2 years related courses studied plus 900 hours related work experience. He is 100% can be granted the PR status except failed in body check and providing false documents.
